Legal compliance should be understood by everyone who is in legal profession. Compliance is the core in legal field. Not only this but also in companies, legal compliance is a must. In the absence of legal compliance, the working will be in done in an unorganized manner. Every procedure in the court should be carried out according to the rules which are laid down. This is called legal compliance in courts. Legal compliance in a company means keeping track of the present status and stage of all the matters related to the company. An advocate should also be well versed with Legal compliance procedures and follow it. He should be well versed with the court legal compliance as well as the legal compliance to be followed in particular case. Legal compliance of courts basically means the filing procedure and legal compliance in matter which mean whether the notice when required was sent, the reply field within the prescribed time limit fixed by law of that particular place.
There are many career opportunities in this field. One can join as an assistant for some advocate if he is familiar with court compliance and assist his boss. If one is good enough in legal compliance one can even work in the compliance department of the court. If a person is holding an advocate degree but does not wish to practice on his own, he may join some big company as Legal officer or Legal Manager. For both the posts one must know the basics of legal compliance.
Legal compliance is necessary everywhere whether it is a court or any company. If the company has its own rules and regulations then it is necessary to follow these regulations. If one is working in an organization then legal compliance is necessary. If one fails to follow legal compliance then there are severe punishments which are prescribed by law. Legal compliance is basically required for smooth functioning of any organization.
The main responsibility of a Compliance Officer in legal compliance is to take care and see to it that where notice was required to be issued has been issued in time or not. If it is not issued then the notice should be issued if it is still within the period prescribed by law. One should also take care whether the reply to the case has been filed or not. If it is not filed, it should be filed at the earliest and if time for that reply has passed one should attach an application to allow the filing of the reply.
There are many cases which are good and are based on truth but as it lacks proper legal compliance the whole case gets spoiled. Thus it is very important.
