The ROE is a Linux based HPC system paired with a Massively Parallel Processing Data Warehouse platform. The combination provides a unique environment capable of supporting advanced data analytics on extremely large and complex datasets. The ROE is designed to be a blend of the technologies typically found in an academic research environment with operational support processes found in enterprise IT to meet higher Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The individual will be responsible for administrating the CADRE ROE information assurance program. Key Activities • Recommend security solutions, advises on systems and application-level security configurations, and investigates/mitigates security risks as required• Conduct threat modeling• Evaluate security controls to ensure effectiveness and compliance with information security program requirements• Create and leverage automation and data analytic tools to assist with the assessment of controls• Act as an information security SME and a primary liaison between CADRE and Information Security and Internal Audit• Create and maintain system security plan• Lead and/or support internal information security related audits• Manage security control remediation efforts• Configure, maintain and operate CADRE ROE security subsystems• Participates in department self-audit, internal audit, external audit reviews and risk assessments for the department and for end user departments. Guides remediation activities for noncompliance issues by tracking and reporting the status of remediation.','!*!Qualifications -Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school with specialization in an information technology field, or equivalent combination of education and/or work related experience required.
