As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will join the team responsible for all aspects of position management, partnership capital account maintenance and audit support. This team works with members of other tax teams (compliance, accounting, legal) within Flint Hills Resources and **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. to identify critical tax positions and implement processes to effectively manage such positions. In addition to other projects which may become available, you will assist with:
• Analyzing and maintaining the partnership model for Section 704(b), 704(c), and 752 information
• Tracking inside and outside tax basis
• Assisting with identifying and managing tax positions
• Supporting federal tax audits
• Working with and supporting all members of the Tax Team in meeting all compliance obligations
Work Experience & Skills Required
• 2 years of federal partnership and corporate tax compliance experience
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
• Advanced computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel, Access and Word
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated workpaper documentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Work Experience & Skills Preferred
• Previous major CPA firm or large multi-national corporation experience
• FAS 109 accounting for income taxes experience
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university
• Masters in Tax or Accounting
• CPA Certification
