Compliance Paralegal Jobs
A compliance paralegal develops and implements a company’s ethics and compliance programs in a confidential and confident manner. Compliance paralegals may work in all areas of the law, like corporate law, employee benefits, real estate, litigation, etc.
The chief responsibility of a compliance paralegal is to provide research and analysis for a variety of compliance and legal matters and to help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Other important duties of a compliance paralegal include maintaining investigation files and documentation, assisting with the compliance monitoring process, developing and managing various compliance related databases, providing reports as required, preparing compliance materials and presentations, providing assistance in legal guidance, and creating legal summary and recommendations.
A job seeker with a bachelor’s degree and prior compliance paralegal experience can apply for a compliance paralegal job. A paralegal certification may also be required. Effective oral and written communication, computer, organizational, analytical, research, and multi-tasking skills are also important.
