Government Compliance Jobs
The government compliance executive supports internal audits focused primarily on the government’s internal controls, asset safeguarding, and compliance with procedures, laws, and regulations. The government compliance executive independently and objectively help plan and execute audits in accordance with professional and governmental auditing standards. He assists in preparation of audit work programs identifying specific audit steps to be performed, including test plans. The government compliance executive prepares time and resource budget estimates to complete the audit. He also has to identifies, and analyzes related key processes, systems and controls to determine effectiveness. The government compliance executive verbally communicates audit status. The government compliance executive prepares formal written work papers and reports, documenting audit work performed, and expressing conclusions.
The government compliance job candidate should have a 4 year degree in finance, accounting or related field. 8 to 10 years of experience at increasing levels of responsibility in financial management of Government Contracts, Compliance, and Internet Auditing.
