Job Description:
Evaluate escalated incidents to determine potential impact based on the scope of services provided by the third-party vendor to the client
Identify and remediate gaps as identified throughout the investigation
Perform evaluation and triage of escalated event/incident
Once the incident has been identified to potential impact client, communication the findings to the client
Provide mitigation steps that third party vendor is taking to resolve the and advise the client on how to proceed until mitigation is complete
Facilitated the communication between the third-party vendor and client
Perform investigative procedures and tactical containment of escalated incidents
Responsible for analyzing events details, enriching the data from multiple source, due diligence, and providing remediation requirement
Conduct analysis of ecosystems of vendor, software, and applications with an overall below the average score to create investigative summaries and generate extraction reports
Recognize attacker tools, tactics, and procedures in indicators of compromise (IOCs) that can be applied to current and future investigations
Recommend remediation steps changes to improve the mitigation of an incident to completion
Provide technical and business support to external parties (e.g., Fraud, legal, BUs)
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree
5 years of information security experience
3 years third-party (vendor) risk management experience
2 years supporting incident response and/or investigations
Experience with vendor reputational software (BitSight, RiskRecon, Security Scorecard, tec..)
Strong relationship management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of GRC technology solutions
Experience with various regulatory compliance, information security, and risk management frameworks.
Strong networking and/or Cloud Experience
Excellent working knowledge of supplier SLAs, KPIs, and risk management techniques
