Vice President, Compliance (WA)Ensure regulatorycompliance with state and other government agencies related to thenhealth insurance industry, and its business subsidiaries.nReport directly to the COO. Develop and implementna strategic vision for compliance and ethics culture within thenbusiness unit ensuring alignment with CorporatenEnsure business unit is in compliance with state andnfederal program regulations, insurance regulations, regulatorynrequirements for business entities and state contractnrequirements Develop policies, procedures, andnprocesses to ensure compliance with state law, federal law,ncontract requirements, and various standardsnOversee compliance integration and support of businessnoperations and support units Oversee,nadminister, and implement various compliance programs, includingnfraud and abuse and HIPAA Provide guidance tonvarious departments regarding compliance issues and implementationnof new compliance requirements related to regulatory and contractnlanguage Develop strategic relationships withnstate and federal regulators and assist with the development ofninternal and external policies concerning state insurance, ManagednCare Organization, Medicare and Medicaid regulations andninitiatives Identify, evaluate and analyze thenimpact of state and federal, regulation, policy and contractnrequirements; resulting issues, develop positions, alternatives,nrecommendations advise management concerning impactnOversee fraud and abuse programs on the health plannlevel, collaborating with the special investigation unit team andnserving as the main regulatory liaison nOversee development or adoption of Corporate’snspecial investigation, ethics, and compliance training to includendelivery, monitoring, and reporting Conductncompliance monitoring, develop and implement performancenimprovement plans, corrective action plans, and report onnachievement of action plans to seniornmanagement Oversee the maintenancenand tracking of laws and regulations, contract documentation,namendments, and various compliance measures and ensure appropriatesnare taken to addressnchangesQualifications:Education/Experience: Bachelor'sndegree in Public Policy, Government Affairs, BusinessnAdministration or related field. 8 nyears of compliance program management and contractnexperience. Extensive knowledge ofnstate administrative code and regulations, state insurance laws,nand regulations including managed carenregulations. Experience with statenand federal government agencies, accreditation bodies,nparticipating provider agreements, HIPAA and Third PartynAdministration (TPA) laws, credentialing regulations and prompt paynlaws. Master’s or Lawndegree preferred.
