What you’ll do on a typical day:
Support carrier representatives across the enterprise by establishing carriers in the system and resolving issues
Screen and enter carrier data into TMS system; check carrier set-up packets to ensure all documents are received
Validate all information received from carriers and investigate any issues
Monitor all carriers for compliance
Communicate with carrier reps, sales reps, accounting, and IT to resolve any issues
Assist with customer insurance certificates
Maintain the highest level of professional relations in any dealings with employees, carriers, or outside suppliers
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
High school diploma or equivalent
2 to 4 years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Brokerage
Knowledge and understanding of the transportation industry, including: DOT/FMCSA regulations, SAFESTAT, CSA, Hours of Service, and insurance requirements
Ability to maintain professionalism while working in a fast-paced team environment with different work groups (Accounts Payable, Operations, IT)
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; understand instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Demonstrated effective communication, telephone, and organizational skills; ability to solve problems, manage workload, and multitask efficiently with a strong sense of urgency
Ability to operate efficiently in a Windows environment
It’d be great if you also have:
