Virgin Orbit is searching for superhero interns
who stand strong in the face of complex challenges. As a Legal & Compliance intern
you will work with the entire company, work alongside the brightest in the industry and help shape the future of Virgin Orbit! We’ll bring the rockets, you bring a great work ethic, a love for space, and your credibility. This is a 12-week position in the summer of 2018 at our rocket factory in beautiful Long Beach, California.
A first or second year law student
Strong undergraduate and law school academic record
Strong writing and communication skills
Good practical and problem-solving skills
A pro-active and energetic approach to work
Business orientation and a strong interest in working in a space-technology driven business/manufacturing environment

Experience leading and managing complex projects across various stakeholders
Ability to work under pressure and with ‘on the spot’ priority situations in a quick and effective manner
Passion for space exploration and a firm belief in the utility of affordable access to space
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15) or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
