Under general supervision, responsible for research, analysis and handling of routine to complex compliance matters related to rate, rule and form filing, underwriting, compliance policies and procedures, and/or quality assurance/ self-audits for monitoring the business areas to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal requirements relevant to the area. This includes promoting awareness of compliance issues, monitoring execution of underwriting compliance strategies and work functions, monitoring success in implementing compliance actions, assist in the development of compliance plans/programs, and/or quality assurance reviews and self-audits and resolving compliance issues in coordination with internal and external business/support units. This job does not lead others.
Education, Work Experience & Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance aspects of the insurance industry. Proven ability to research and interpret laws and regulations. Experienced using Microsoft Office applications: Word, PowerPoint Excel, Visio.

4 year college degree or equivalent work experience required. Minimum 5 years in the insurance industry.
