Questions? ************************** Job Title Casualty Process Specialist Requisition Number R2398 Casualty Process Specialist (Open) Location Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Additional Locations Colorado Springs, Colorado, Henderson, Nevada, Mt Laurel, New Jersey Job Information Job Summary The Casualty Process team is looking for an analytical and collaborative thought analyst with five or more years of Casualty claim handling experience to help support the overall business strategy and corporate objectives. As a Process Specialist, you will serve as a Casualty subject matter expert while measuring the competitive performance of the business, create rational plans on how we will enhance our business results, and motivate operational team members to achieve the desired results through a common goal. The Casualty Process Specialists analysis will focus on the members experience, quality, and compliance performance. You will have the opportunity to lead research projects of moderate complexity as well as present findings and/or recommendations to the Senior Leadership team Essential Functions/Principal Responsibilities * Conducts independent, objectivefile quality audits through a systemic, disciplined approach in accordancewith standard operating procedures and provides immediate feedback to the business disciplines key stakeholders. * Serves asa Casualtytechnical resource to less experienced team members. * Assists with enhancing internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), updating Casualty and other related SharePoint libraries, and working with third party information system providers. * Produces meaningful observations through synthesizing data from internal and external sources. * Assists the Regional Claim Centers on complaint resolution, ensures outlined processes are executed, identifies and coordinates training needs with the Training Department, and summarizes action plan to business leaders. * Collects operational, product and financial data; conducts research and performs more complex analysis. Determines possible implications, trends or patterns to provide insight to decision-makers. Creates specifications to construct forecasts and models based on business data and knowledge of business processes. Contributes to cost and benefit analysis. * Reviews and analyzes business unit reports to identify root causes and implement improvements. * Develops a variety of reporting methodologies to capture identified trends such as charts, graphs and tables that consolidate data in meaningful ways. * Diagrams and evaluates existing processes and develops future state direction that maximizes efficiency and technology. * Up to 50% travel *LI-SB1 CSAA123 Core - Customer Focus (Supporting), Core - Innovation (Supporting), Core - Knowing the Business (Supporting), Core - Results Orientation (Supporting), Core - Teamwork & Collaboration (Supporting), Functional - Developing Objectives and Strategies (Supporting), Functional - Problem Solving (Supporting), Functional - Process Improvement (Supporting), Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Strong mathematical skills Advanced analytical skills to effectively identify problems and develop solutions Advanced organizational skills Excellent communication, business writing and presentation skills Negotiation skills Strong project management and facilitation skills and experience Teamwork orientation Business acumen and understanding of operational/product/financial concepts and models as they apply to the business unit and CSAA Insurance Group Advanced interpersonal and relationship-building skills Advanced understanding of CSAA Insurance Group business strategy Understanding of the use and development of operational models and other related reporting software Knowledge of principles, theories and concepts applicable to process engineering and proficiency with scoping, chartering and leading business and process analysis and design Capable of utilizing all business process analysis and documentation tools and techniques commonly in use within the company Strong research and investigative skills Preferred: Knowledge of change management concepts Education, Work Experience, Licenses & Certifications Required: Bachelors degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience 5 years of experience in business analysis or related area, with 2 -3 years process design/analysis and consulting experience Preferred: Advanced degree in related area
