In this role, the ICRM Mortgage Lending Coordinator will serve as the primary Private Bank ICRM point of contact for multiple mortgage projects, committees and working groups shared with Citi Mortgage to ensure collaboration and consideration for consistency between the mortgage businesses where appropriate. Projects, committees and working groups include platform enhancements to implement regulatory changes or controls, cross business regulatory change management, document change and fee working groups and cross business issues management. Additional responsibilities include regular interaction with Citi Mortgage ICRM and Project leads to calibrate business needs and present practical solutions or recommendations to Private Bank ICRM, Legal and business partners to facilitate appropriate and effective compliance with consumer protection regulations and assist in adhering to relevant Citi policies, procedures and control requirements. Regulations include: Truth in Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement protection Act, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Flood Disaster Protection Act, Truth in Lending Act, Fair Housing Act, Privacy and other applicable regulations to mortgage lending products.In this role the ICRM Mortgage Lending Coordinator will maintain a strong compliance culture by: Participating, consulting and follow up for mortgage projects (CFPB Home Mortgage Disclosure Act Program, Cenlar Migration, InView, MRA Resolution), committees and working groups shared with Citi Mortgage to ensure collaboration and consideration for consistency between the mortgage businesses where appropriate Supporting, participating and consulting business related to mortgage platform enhancements to implement regulatory changes or controls including review of Business Requirements Documents, User Acceptance Testing results and post implementation control monitoring requirements. Managing cross business regulatory change management (Regulatory Applicability Change Management, Applicability Change Management, Fee and Doc Committee), including review of documentation of required changes, policies, procedures and control validation requirements. Managing cross business issues management, including coordination with business to perform initial assessment and impact analysis, recommendations for corrective action as needed and review of documentation of corrective action, policies, procedures and control validation requirements. (Cross Business Issues Analysis Process). Interacting with Citi Mortgage ICRM and Project leads to calibrate business needs and present practical solutions or recommendations to Private Bank ICRM, Legal and business partners to facilitate appropriate and effective compliance with consumer protection regulations and assist in adhering to relevant Citi policies, procedures and control requirements Monitoring, identifying and investigating unusual trends or activity that can be indicative of compliance problems and communicate and\/or escalate as necessary, including recommending practical solutions to compliance issues; Working closely with other control groups such as legal, risk management, and audit to ensure coverage is comprehensive and consistent and that issues are appropriately addressed on a timely basis; Working with the Compliance Testing unit to identify emerging risk areas and recommending adhoc testing as necessary; Assisting with the content, implementation and delivery of compliance training. Qualifications 5 years of experience in a compliance specialist\/control role. Compliance, legal and\/or regulatory background preferred; Bachelor\u2019s degree or higher in related field of study, JD and CRCM certification desirable; Strong knowledge of consumer lending compliance, laws and regulations. Mortgage experience preferred; The ICRM Mortgage Lending Coordinator requires a level of expertise related to understanding the regulatory requirements (including Truth in Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement protection Act, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Flood Disaster Protection Act, Truth in Lending Act, Fair Housing Act, Privacy and other applicable regulations to mortgage lending products) and environment for mortgage products, familiarity with mortgage sales and originations practices and a strong knowledge of Citi risk, control and issue management policies. Working knowledge of private banking\/wealth management products and services helpful; Strong risk assessment, analytical, decision making, interpersonal, presentation, and written\/verbal communication skills; Developed communication skills to negotiate internally and externally at high levels. The ICRM Mortgage Coordinator requires developed interpersonal skills including clear communication, ability to identify business partner's needs and challenges and apply thoughtful negotiation with middle and senior management to achieve heightened standards objectives and cross business consistency outcomes. Able to work effectively with senior business management and staff, and with a matrixes organization of Compliance colleagues; Goal oriented team player who treats others with dignity and respect; and Able to engage others in open, honest dialogue and directly addresses conflict when it arises.
