Are you interested to join a highly dynamic team passionate by the development of world class business services? The Customs Duties Compliance Supervisor´s mission will be to ensure business processes are compliant with international import/export regulations, particularly import processes including customs, tariff classifications, free trade agreements, valuation, duty preferences, and related regulatory obligations, for Nestlé's markets in cooperation with Nestlé Group Indirect Tax and Customs Management Department. The role encompasses providing excellent customer service through timely and accurate execution and ensuring compliance with government regulations and / or company policies, whilst acting in accordance with Nestlé's guiding principles and core values.                                                         We value the enthusiasm of candidates and their capability to execute projects and take risks. They should be able to accept and manage change, demonstrate interest in innovation and creativity, and demonstrate the ability to cooperate proactively.                                                                                                                Key responsibilities:  Reporting directly to the Tax Centre of Competence Lead based in Barcelona and with high degree of interaction with the Group Indirect Tax and Customs Management Department in Vevey (Switzerland), the Customs Duties Compliance Supervisor's responsibility will be to manage various aspects of Customs requirements to support Nestlé's businesses.  Responsibilities will include: Manage global customs classification in close collaboration with Supply Chain personnel for the Nestlé's markets. Advice functions regarding optimal usage of customs in order to ensure customs and tax compliance, and minimize customs duties costs. Approve and evaluate tariff classification of all materials. Ensure global tariff classification for all materials used in purchasing, order and delivery transactions. Assist Supply Chain function with trade preference determinations (eligibility), procedures, standards and non-preferential country of origin. Support functions on issues related to product movement in SAP system, including Supply Chain, Tax, and Import/Export teams. Support Tax Center of Competence Lead in the day-to-day management of the team by reviewing and delegating work, managing each member's workload and mentoring and training staff.                                                                                                                                                                                                             Education and experience: Bachelor / Master degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Law Between 6 to 8 years of experience in Customs (foreign, with focus on EU and Swiss) gained either within industry or consulting firm. Experience working in a corporate trade compliance environment and knowledge of VAT / GST. Good understanding of Centers of Competence / Shared Service Center operations, internal and external business environment and business processes. Fluent in English, Spanish and/or French is an asset. Good computer skills in the user´s perspective (Windows/Office), particularly Excel. Knowledge of SAP ERP system is an asset.   Show us that you are fact based and that you have the ability to manage priorities.
