The UDAAP compliance analyst will provide regulatory support to the business to support growth and innovation by developing risk-based solutions through analysis, problem solving, critical thinking, and collaboration. This position will assist the UDAAP compliance manager in evaluating the effectiveness of the compliance management program (CMP) for UDAAP risks related to credit card rewards programs.
Compliance Management Program Responsibilities
Provide consumer related regulatory guidance and support to the first line of defense (FLOD). Assist the FLOD and/or other stakeholders with risk-based decision making to mitigate and manage risk. Provide a credible challenge to the FLOD to ensure compliance.
Create and maintain tools, guides, and procedures for the FLOD to use when developing and servicing credit card rewards programs. Periodically train FLOD on regulatory requirements.
Advise the FLOD on compliance-based monitoring activities that should be conducted, the frequency for conducting those activities (based on risk), and effectiveness of controls.
Identify, track, and provide corrective action and process enhancements for issues related to credit card reward programs.
Assist in management reporting of key risks, action plans, program health, etc.
Review and investigate complaints to detect potential consumer harm or potential weaknesses in the CMP.
Internal Audit and Regulatory Examination Support
Provide support for Global Audits.
Support leadership, including direct supervisor in regulatory requests and examination processes.

Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
1-3 years of experience working in a compliance capacity in banking, financial services, or related field.
