Primary Job Functions:
10 years experience in compliance in either Transmission control, Power Generation or Reliability Coordination or a combination of the above.
Minimum 5 years supervisory experience 
Proven experience in customer interfacing
Experience with previous regulatory audits preferred
Proven Project Management Experience
Demonstrated understanding of power plant operations, and NERC regulatory requirements
Bachelors degree in a technical discipline or equivalent related experience that has provided the candidate with the necessary knowledge, skill, and abilities to perform the functions of the position proficiently.

Comprehensive understanding and ability to decipher regulatory requirements and successfully apply them to the business
Ability to independently assess, define and solve complex regulatory issues

Highly organized with demonstrated success in managing and prioritizing multiple project demands
Able to effectively communicate with senior management and regulatory authorities both internally and externally
Strong communication and presentation skills
Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Manage capital and OpEx projects effectively, and ensure that milestones, timelines, budgets, deliverables and constraints are well communicated.
Oversee the development and implementation of integrated procedures and protocols for all aspects of FSES Programs as dictated by various interconnection agreements and PPAs in compliance with NERC and other reliability entity requirements.  Deliverable will be NERC Program Documentation, and Implementation of a compliant program in partnership with the FSES team.
Ensure that the appropriate standards, systems, and processes are in place to facilitate proper evidentiary documentation of the compliance program in order to achieve Audit Readiness.  Deliverable will be retrievable evidentiary documentation that will be achieved by partnering with the Operations & Systems Support teams.
Manage and lead Audits of the Compliance Program. 
Leverage the Systems Support Team to create a Culture of Compliance throughout the O&M organization. 
Establish measures and methods for managing and tracking project deliverables, through the working knowledge of all executed O&M agreements and regulatory requirements
Drive contractual requirements and establish proper flow down to functional groups to ensure completion of required assignments by project deadlines to avoid fines and penalties
Monitor contractual and regulatory requirements to ensure 100% compliance is achieved
Acts as the focal point and subject matter expert and Execution Manager  for all FERC, NERC, WECC, (and other Reliability Entity) Interconnect and ISO issues
Establish and maintain solid relationships between regulatory agencies, transmission operators and customers
Ensure filing for all contractual, legal and compliance documents
Ensure filing of all event based notices and filings
Maintain knowledge of relevant reliability standards and contracts

Act as a contact and coordinator for all regulatory audits
Oversee miscellaneous compliance related technology initiatives as assigned
Other duties as assigned
Ability to work continuously at/with a computer throughout the course of the work day
Expect up to 15% travel at times
Physical Requirements:
Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift
Will climb stairs on an occasional basis
Will lift, push or pull up to 27 pounds on an occasional basis
Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
Must be able to comply with all FSES safety standards and procedures
May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective jacket or apron and arm guards)
