Corporate Compliance Analyst

Our client, a prominent international bank, seeks a sharp Compliance Analyst to join their team. Position Description/Overview: Responsibility includes: Support the NY Office in ensuring compliance with all Corporate Compliance regulatory requirements related to the bank with a focus on AML and non-AML and non-sanctions topics Maintain an inventory and track New York Branch Compliance against all relevant regulatory requirements across a range of topics (Enhanced Prudential Standards, capital adequacy, risk management, business practices, financial statements and financial regulatory reporting, etc.) Work with VP to administer an effective KYC program for the New York Branch Assist in drafting and implementing policies and procedures, and assess written supervisory procedures and other tailored or discreet compliance advisory bulletins Assist in remediating gaps or shortcomings in existing policies for current regulatory requirements and any changes or new regulatory requirements Provide advice and assistance to support LOBs (Financial Institutions, Corporate Banking, Credit, Clearing, etc.) and functional groups in meeting their regulatory compliance responsibilities Provide advice on new products, services and business activities Stay up to date on federal and state compliance updates and changes to regulations, including articulation of practical implications of changes to Senior Management and applicable stakeholders (LOBs and functional groups) Assist in the preparation and delivery of compliance training for new and existing staff Assist in regulatory compliance examinations Assist in coordination of branch Compliance activities, conference calls and training Knowledge/Skill Requirements: Bachelorâ€™s degree required At least 2 years of compliance or regulatory experience in banking preferred Familiarity with U.S. Laws and Regulations Familiarity with Corporate Banking and Financial Institutions business and relevant products / services (e.g. Letters of Credit, Trade Finance, Clearing) Superior written and verbal skills in order to communicate with senior management and staff Able to operate in team environments, especially in cross-functional teams Strong computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Strong organizational skills
