Position The successful candidate will partner with line of business team members in Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) Operations to provide support and guidance in the development and execution for first line of defense risk activities, including risk identification, measurement, and reporting. The successful candidate will utilize knowledge of issue monitoring, risk control self-assessment processes, internal loss data, and external loss data to help identify and measure the impact of technology related risks on overall operational risk assessments. Position Responsibilities Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Work collaboratively with technology and enterprise operational risk professionals to support the execution of risk management disciplines across technology processes with particular emphasis on risk identification, measurement, and reporting Foster an ongoing healthy relationship with business partners and risk stakeholders, through regular communication, active participation in meetings/presentations, consulting support, and related reporting Proactively manage awareness and escalation of business risk issues, mitigation activities, required deliverables, and related evidence of completed activities, as necessary Support planned and ad hoc risk related requests and initiatives for business partners Review artifacts for completeness, quality, and content and provide challenge where appropriate
10 years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 10 years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 5 years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both
9 years of risk management and mitigation experience
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
