Client Solution Architects has an immediate opening for a Cyber Security Policy and Compliance Associate to support the Technical Acquisition and Support Services with the Industry Engagement Resilience office with Department of Homeland Security (DHS). “Keep the pulse” of the sectors and provide insight into cyber incidents, cyber resources, and trends that may affect cybersecurity in both positive and negative manners. Team members actively provide this input to both the internal support team and the client. This data is collected via open-source research and/or through direct engagement with the SSA. Support critical infrastructure sectors’ cybersecurity posture by assisting Federal staff in establishing and growing partnerships within IER/SECIR/CS&C, sector stakeholders, and other subcomponents and programs within DHS. Manage the relationship between the client and the sector, keeping track of and reminding the client of engagement actions. Support Federal staff interactions with the sector by preparing the Federal staff for sector meetings, attending meetings with and on behalf of the Federal staff, take meeting minutes and managing action items resulting from meetings. Conduct cybersecurity related research, analysis and coordination activities in support of DHS cyber assurance and policy efforts. Develop documentation of cybersecurity policies, directives, and legislation; sector cyber requirements; gap analysis; threat analysis; and risk assessments and mitigation for the sectors. Perform analysis of cybersecurity, intelligence and information technology policy gaps for the sectors.
2-3 years’ consulting experience in a client-facing role; Current or Interim DHS Secret Security Clearance ( preferred
) or the ability to obtain one; Bachelor’s degree; Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); Ability to travel within D.C./Northern Virginia; Demonstrated ability to work in a project driven environment with various levels of leadership; Open-source research and analysis product development experience; Existing suitability with DHS NPPD component ( preferred but optional
