    SUMMARY OF POSITION


    The Payroll & Compliance Administrator is responsible for providing expertise and ownership across all corporate payroll functions. Role requires a high level of integrity, confidentiality and the ability to work well both independently as well as in a team setting.



    Core responsibilities include primary processing of weekly and biweekly payroll and multi-jurisdictional tax compliance. The role works collaboratively with other HR personnel to ensure effective execution of all employee benefits and reward programs.

    ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE


    The Payroll & Compliance Administrator reports directly to the VP of Global Compliance & Benefits

    RESPONSIBILITIES


    • Payroll


      • Owns the payroll function all categories of employees

      • Processes weekly and biweekly payroll across multiple intra-company organizations

      • Oversees maintenance of all payroll and earnings records

      • Ensures that all taxes, benefits, contributions and deductions are withheld appropriately


    • Compliance


      • Advanced understanding of Federal tax laws and regulations

      • Works within multi-jurisdictional state tax and state unemployment filings

      • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of payroll and compliance laws and regulations, while understanding and anticipating payroll impact


    • HRIS


      • Expertise in ADP Systems, preferable Workforce Now, eTime, Smart Compliance

      • Ownership of General Ledger Interface while working closely with Finance team to ensure proper payroll output


    • Administration


      • Provides custom reporting to Finance and other departments on a wide range of employee and payroll data, as requested

      • Updates all necessary employee-driven system changes

      • Ability to assist as needed within HR department




    QUALIFICATIONS


    • Associate’s degree in HR, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience

    • Experience in a payroll function

    • Experience with HRIS software, ADP preferred

    • High level of confidentiality and attention to detail

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Excel

    • Ability to work effectively with all others throughout organization, regardless of position or level
