WFAS is comprised of approximately 1100 team members covering audit work across the company and is responsible to protect customers, team members, and communities by reducing risk.The Consumer Banking Audit Team (CBAT)CBAT has responsibility for operational, compliance, credit, and reputation risks associated with the development, pricing, promotion, origination, servicing, and collection across all Wells Fargo consumer products and services (lending and non-lending), including payments and innovation. The RolesDue to internal promotions and team growth, Wells Fargo Audit Services (WFAS) is looking for five Senior Audit Managers (SAMs) for CBAT. These positions will functionally report to the applicable CBAT Audit Director or Senior Audit Manager, and be part of the CBAT Extended Leadership Team. The five roles will have specific responsibility for: Credit Card & Retail Solutions (CRS) Production/Acquisition Risk Coverage Coordination/ERMA/Team Operational Support Operations for non-lending products and services Audit Issues Management & Validation MRA Management & Validation
Responsible for the career development and coaching of up to approx. 10 experienced staff (mostly Audit Managers and Senior Lead Auditors). Provides timely feedback and coaching. Establishes development plans for each team member that facilitates proficiency and excellence in current positions and prepares team members for future opportunities. Accountable for completion of assigned segment of the audit plan and other defined objectives, including managing a mix of dedicated and shared resources. Responsible for the quality and timely completion of audit assurance and project work, ensuring audits are well planned, executed and reported, and issues are proactively escalated to management for timely resolution. Develops and maintains strong, positive relationships with business partners, regulators, third parties, and other internal WF/WFAS teams. Plans and organizes work in an annual cycle, not just project cycle. Ensures audit engagements are risk-based, and executed according to Wells Fargo Audit Services policies and guidance. Provides leadership beyond assigned areas, contributing to the overall strategy of CBAT. Focused on efficiently and effectively delivering on goals at multiple levels (self, CBAT, WFAS, WF). The candidates we are seeking will possess knowledge and experience specific to some or all of the roles described above, as well as a demonstrable track record of collaboration and partnership in a highly matrixed team/organization. Required Qualifications
8 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: audit, control testing, control and risk identification, or audit analysis
2 years of leadership or management experience
Audit experience at a large financial institution or auditing company.
A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or business administration
Certification in one or more of the following: CPA, CAMS, CRCM, CIA, CISA or Commissioned Bank Examiner designation
Leadership experience for professional auditors, risk management, or project leadership professionals
Solid knowledge and understanding of audit methodologies and tools that support audit processes
