Risk & Compliance is a fast-growing Thomson Reuters business. It focuses on connecting our customers business to the ever ever-changing regulatory environment, with client groups including compliance, audit, legal and risk functions in financial services, law firms, accounting firms, regulators, insurance, energy and other industries undergoing regulatory change.
The Risk & Compliance team works with teams across Thomson Reuters to leverage the full capabilities of the business.
Overlay resource that provides product-specific expertise to sales team and Risk & Compliance customers. Drives product sales, identifies opportunities, contributes to strategic account plans of regional sales teams, and provides interlock between product teams and sales teams to enhance value proposition. Creates client meeting content and delivers product-specific details furthering client interactions.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute against strategic product sales plans.
Product Sales: Identify and develop sales opportunities with regional sales team. Drive product sales and growth through field sales organisation
Product Expertise: Drive product programs and develop regional sellers' product knowledge. Build expertise required for sellers to compete within the marketplace.
Cross-Team Coordination: Serve as a critical team member of Risk & Compliance sales. Collaborate with multiple sellers, Client Development Managers and customers at one time.
Coaching and Training: Provide support and coaching for regional sellers and their 1st line managers.
Forecasting and Reporting: Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to inform strategic decision-making.
Required Skills & Experience:
Customer Satisfaction: Drives programs to ensure existing customer satisfaction, product utilization and ultimately contract renewal. Utilize appropriate escalation processes and programs in place for dissatisfied customers.
Sales Background: 3-5 years in a sales or client services organisation. 3-5 years experience working in a team selling environment.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of GRC needs is strongly desired.
Independent Worker: Ability to deliver results while working in a highly independent and fact-paced team environment.
Business Acumen: Highly proficient at uncovering key business issues and providing insightful, actionable recommendations for improvement.
Communication: Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
