As Simples Senior Compliance Analyst, you will contributes to the success of Simples regulatory compliance outcomes. You will support Simple with the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Compliance Management System as directed by Compliance management.
This position will report to Simples Compliance Officer and frequently collaborate with a community of compliance professionals at Simple and our partner Bank BBVA Compass. You will also work closely with various departments up to Senior Management.

You are an experienced compliance professional interested in creating an industry leading approach to ensuring strong regulatory risk management in a dynamic, innovative fintech leader. You can create structure out of ambiguity. You have an eye for detail and can also step back to see larger trends. You enjoy coaching others on compliance risks and best practices.
What Youll Do All Day:
Support the development of departmental, cross-team and company-wide compliance policies, procedures and processes, supporting their efficient and scalable implementation.
Participate on product and vendor compliance risk reviews, as well as the tracking and reporting of such activities.
Manage the Compliance Training Program and ensure proper execution of compliance training for new hires, internal transfers and all employees annually.
Support the compliance change management processes including tracking and reporting. Perform reviews of forms and marketing material.
Serve as coordinator for the collection of materials and track and report issues related to regulatory exams and internal audits.
Interface with and provide support to internal auditors, external auditors, external partners, and regulatory agencies during audits, examinations, and other engagements.
Strengthen relationships with other divisions by enhancing trust, championing the work of the Compliance team.
Maintain excellence in industry and functional knowledge over time through training, learning and growth.
Assist in preparation of Compliance related management reports.
Help key stakeholders understand the impact of, and prioritize, potential compliance risk management improvements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Wed Like to See:
BA or BS degree with strong academic performance strongly preferred.
At least 5-7 years of compliance, consulting, or auditing experience within financial services required.
Strong knowledge of financial services deposit compliance laws and regulations (ie. UDAAP, Reg E, Reg DD, Reg D, Reg CC). Lending, privacy and BSA/AML compliance familiarity preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required, both verbal and written.
Ability to multi-task while working on long-term projects while maintaining the ability to focus on critical details.
Demonstrated skill with spreadsheets, critical thinking, writing and reading comprehension.
Excellent organization, time management and project management skills.
Focused problem solvers with analytical and project or process management skills preferred.
Ability to handle ambiguity, take ownership for outcomes and work hard toward departmental goals in a collaborative environment.
