Mortgage Compliance Business Analyst/HMDA Support','043791','!*!Grant Thornton is seeking a Mortgage Compliance Business Analyst/HMDA Support to take an active role in engagement execution, project management and key business development activities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Provide Subject Matter Expertise to the HMDA Operations team in interpretation and analysis of Regulation C, assisting with translating regulatory requirements into tasks for the team’s programmers to develop into computer code, in support of the HMDA Platform.Support the process of regulatory changes by coordinating between the Bureau Regulations writing team and the technical HMDA Operations team, and provide insights to both teams through analytic methods on potential impacts of proposed regulatory actions on HMDA Platform computer code, HMDA filers, and HMDA publications.Support the annual review of HMDA edits in Filing Instruction Guide (FIG) and updates that are published on client website, provide analytic support to weigh proposed changes and impacts. Develop specific tasks for the HMDA Operations technical team in the form of github.com issues. Support testing of computer code using analytic methods and tools, and provide feedback to software developers. Prepare presentations on the HMDA Platform, HMDA publications, and user facing tools. Participate in industry conference calls, webinars, and direct HMDA filer interaction. Provide subject matter expertise in planning and executing in advanceReactive, cloud-based application to a team of existing software engineers. Assist the Bureau Program Manager and staff in short and long term planning efforts, team planning discussions, prioritization of program code development and feature updates, and assist with daily standup meetings. Support an agile development approach for interactive and incremental delivery of features into production systems. Have experience in using Github repositories, issues, and project boards to organize and tracking tasks. Support continuous improvement to the HMDA Platform, by assisting the HMDA Operations team with coordinating cyber security issues and concerns through coordination across teams, tracking issues and compliance evidence, and conducting regular meetings with cross departmental teams. Provide ad hoc project management support to technology, analytic, publication, and user outreach efforts as directed by the Program Manager. Provide subject matter expertise of the residential mortgage lending industry, industry and non-industry stakeholders, and support outreach to these stakeholders in ongoing feedback and improvement cycle of the HMDA Platform. Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.','!*!Provide industry standard analytic skills, and experience in supporting expert system users. Deliver regular analytic reporting of HMDA Platform issues, HMDA Help cases, common problems and resolutions. Support ad hoc analysis of various mortgage data trends and support the Program Manager to prepare presentations, graphics, and analytic outputs.Demonstrated experience in providing Program Management Support to a software platform development program. Experience with Github style software development (issues, project boards).Regulatory and corporate compliance- Dodd FrankBachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field. Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.U.S. citizenship may be required.
