The Cybersecurity Compliance Specialist will work with a team of security professionals to inspect Special Access Program (SAP) cybersecurity systems and processes at performer sites across the National Industrial Base (NIB) to ensure the confidentiality integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation of the systems.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Conduct Industrial Security / Information Security program assessments IAW the NISPOM, the NISPOM Supplement Overprint, and/or the DoD 5200.01 Information Security Volumes 1-4. Must also have a working knowledge and understanding of the DoD 5205.07 Volume 1 Enclosure 9 \u201cSAP Compliance Inspections.\u201d.
Monitor security measures for communication systems, networks, and provide advice that systems and personnel adhere to established security standards and Governmental requirements for security on these systems.
Inspect Government approved security policies, plans, and procedures; design and implement data network security measures.
Prepare and distribute compliance review reports to senior government leadership for approval within 3 calendar days of each review.
Oversee the successful closure of corrective action plans within 90 calendar days of issuance.
Current TS clearance
Experience working in a cyber-security position
Extensive knowledge of RMF (Risk Management Framework)
Experience assessing various information systems (of all classification levels) for compliance with applicable government regulations.
Years of Experience/Education Requirements
A Bachelor\u2019s degree in a related field with at least 8 years of relevant experience..
A Master\u2019s degree in a related field with at least 4 years relevant experience
(25-50%) travel is required for this position.
Ability to travel to CONUS locations
