Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Global Sourcing Compliance Specialist, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Global Supply Chain (GSC) Compliance Specialist reports to GSC Compliance Director. The level two role may include lead responsibilities for the compliance team. In this role, the GSC Specialist plays an important strategic role in developing, implementing and verifying compliance to Global Supply Chain policies and procedures. The GSC Specialist is the functional expert who promotes the advancement of procurement disciplines by training GSC and procurement members, monitoring and evaluating procurement practices to ensure compliance with the respective policies and procedures; and by reviewing GSC contracts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

What you will be doing
Primary responsibility for development and implementation of compliant standard work processes, with continuous improvement mindset through integration with other functional teams. Drives implementation of audit and compliance applications and automation tools.
Leads the development and delivery of in-depth training for GSC and COE Purchasing Teams on an as needed basis, focusing on changes in the FAR/DFARs Regulations and Public Law changes and/or new hire training.
Monitors and maintains advanced knowledge of changes in government regulations (FAR/DFARS) and determines communication methodology for notification (and training, if required) to GSC and COE Purchasing teams & GSC Compliance Specialists, as needed. Proactively engages with GSC Compliance Specialist(s) and functional teams to maintain comprehension and adherence to Government (FAR/DFARS) regulations and company policies and procedures.
On an ongoing basis, identifies and monitors gaps in compliance comprehension (systemic or individual), compliance trends, etc., via the use of metrics. Based on the metrics, develop training plan with a focus on continuous improvement.
Performs post-award reviews of PLC Sourcing and Purchasing files on a monthly basis to ensure post award documentation is included in the file package (such as acknowledgement, debarment certification, etc.). Develops, implements and maintains a Corrective Action Plan / Process for resolution of deficiencies noted during pre and post award reviews.

Subject Matter Expert in U.S. government and commercial procurement practices
Demonstrated expert knowledge of FAR/DFARS
Ability to research and interpret contract and regulatory flow downs and incorporate into PO terms and conditions
Proficiency in government accounting principles and cost analysis techniques
Demonstrated solid to-expert knowledge of government Small Business Program requirements. (SBLO - Expert)
Strong knowledge-based skill set in audit scoping, planning and audit testing techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including audit and management report writing
In-depth knowledge of the Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) process
Knowledge of management information systems terminology, concepts, controls and practices. Proficiency with MS office and prior experience with ERP and financial systems
Ability to travel, including international (Western Europe, Poland, UK, Asia)
Education or Formal Training
BA degree in a business or engineering discipline required
Masters business degree preferred
Professional certification e.g. - CPM, CPCM desirable
8 years of experience in government procurement or subcontract management required.
Requires an experienced professional capable of working with both internal and external resources; able to represent the company to suppliers and the US Government. Ability to provide reliable consultative advice on company techniques, methods, and practices
