The Opportunity The Training & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for expediting and enhancing the acquisition of new skills through the development, and implementation of a comprehensive advanced training program for staff members. The Training & Compliance Coordinator interacts closely with the manager of Training, Quality and Compliance and department management to assure training needs are met. How you will contribute to make a difference Managing a structured, advanced training program for staff to ensure that the technical needs of the divisional areas are met. Liaising with operational managers in the pursuit of continued process improvement and procedural compliance. Educating staff of the regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures. Teaching how to care for our animals and to always put animal welfare first. Is this you? If so, apply today! Provide advanced technical training to staff. In conjunction with the manager of Training, Quality and Compliance, manages an advanced training program for all staff and training program for new recruits.u00a0 Assist in developing new procedures and refining current technical procedures. Establish a network of departmental trainers, define their operating principles and promote best practice. Able to work independently as well as in a group environment.u00a0 Ensure timelines are met. Actively contribute to the routine reassessment of staff. Develop, deliver and produce a broad range of presentations/intranet based training material designed to complement the technical training of our staff.u00a0 Identify training needs and liaise with the Supervisory group to ensure that training objectives are met. Develop and update u201cVerification of Staff Competencyu201d documents; modify/review Standard Operating Procedures. Create Training Guides and modify company policies and SOPs. Provide technical assistance to divisional areas during times of limited resource. Maintain departmental metrics and spreadsheets. Performs any other duties as required or assigned. Must be willing to work with both small and large animal species and be open to cross training in other departments.
