Position Description

As the Director, Enterprise Regulatory Compliance Programs, your role is critical to the enhancement and ongoing maintenance of Fiserv’s enterprise compliance management system. You will assist the VP, Regulatory Compliance in fostering enterprise consistency by providing second line oversight and governance support for assigned business units and functions to ensure a uniform and effective approach to incorporating compliance into business unit strategy and operations. You will have the opportunity to lead and influence multiple enterprise compliance initiatives, and as such it is critical you understand the regulatory environment for Fiserv and our clients. The ideal candidate will be a thought leader that promotes a strong and compliance aware culture that aligns with our organizational values and purpose. In this role, you will interact and collaborate regularly with various levels of management, and internal partners including the Enterprise Risk organization, Legal and the Business, and as such requires exceptional professionalism and ability to influence multiple stakeholders.

Your essential job responsibilities include the following :

Support the design and implementation of the enterprise compliance framework as dictated by the VP, Compliance. Drive execution of enterprise compliance strategic initiatives and enhancement and implementation of business unit compliance programs to ensure effective implementation and ongoing governance and oversight. Coordinate with various stakeholders on regulatory compliance matters including assigned Business Units, Legal and Corporate Audit Services. Assist in the development and enhancement of compliance processes and enterprise compliance monitoring mechanisms. Conduct comprehensive second line testing of business units for compliance with applicable regulations, laws and industry standards, and to test the effectiveness of controls. Provide authoritative and consultative advice and support to executive and business unit management and make recommendations regarding preventative and corrective action to minimize regulatory and compliance risks. Work with various levels of Fiserv management to ensure that appropriate regulatory processes and controls are established and documented within their areas of responsibility. Assist the business units with establishment of standard reporting metrics to ensure target performance and reporting requirements are met, including identification of significant incidents and complaints that require escalation and effective resolution. As needed, engage with regulators and business unit management for regulatory examinations and inquiries. Assist in the evaluation of audit findings and enable and monitor the successful and timely development and implementation of corrective actions and needed responses. Monitor the regulatory landscape to stay current and aware of emerging risk, proposed and existing regulatory changes and industry best practices, and determine impact to operations of Fiserv’s products and services.

Required Qualifications:

Eight years of regulatory compliance experience within the financial services industry with demonstrated experience in applying compliance program and regulatory compliance concepts.

Experience in developing, implementing and monitoring a comprehensive compliance management system.

A strong and broad understanding of compliance laws, regulations and industry standards. Relevant regulations include but are not limited to the Dodd Frank Act, TILA, TCPA, UDAAP, ADA, FCRA, FDCPA, ECOA, The Electronic Funds Transfer Act, The Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) rules.

Experience developing compliance policies and procedures.

Proven leadership skills and ability to establish credibility with executive level and business unit management.

Strategic thinking, analytical and client-focused perspective.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with large scale enterprise change initiatives.Professional certification, preferably the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or other similar designation.
