WHAT DOES A GREAT MANAGER OF COMPLIANCE DO?
The primary purpose of this position is to establish an environment of compliance through creation and implementation of enterprise policies and practices; development of a global compliance strategy that harmonizes all HR policies and programs across 18 countries; and ensure that processes are in accordance with internal requirements and external regulatory requirements for 17,000 U.S. and 5,000 international associates.
You will partner with HR Business Partners to investigate and resolve compliance related issues. You will also partner with regional compliance functions outside the U.S. to identify and examine local practices and standards, research and analyze issues and identify emerging trends by country.
Global Background Check Program Lead:
You will act as subject matter expert on background check matters for Recruiting Coordinators/Recruiters and providing guidance. You will assist in research, investigation and of background check issues, daily management of account packages/guidelines, handling of various checks corporate wide, audits, etc. Detailed follow-up and ensuring consistency in resolution with Recruiting Coordinators/Recruiters. Implementation of new background check vendor in global regions.
You'll assist in the development and deployment of dedicated strategies and programs to build an environment that supports compliance and the Fiserv values. Develop enterprise HR policies and procedures; complete corresponding deployment and training. Craft and maintain a schedule of all policies and procedures to be implemented or updated within HR to ensure that meaningful assessments are undertaken and that proposed timescales are met Lead intranet policy and compliance sites and content areas as required
Reporting and Metrics:
You will also utilize metrics and tools to monitor compliance and implement standards to collect, consolidate and analyze information to identify trends and potential risk areas Ensure that all records and systems, both manual and electronic, are appropriately update Coordinate and streamline processes related to compliance tracking, reporting and audits Prepare data analysis for internal and external compliance reviews
Client Focus and Quality Orientation:
As a Manager of Compliance, you will advise on compliance related business activities, such as policy management, employment verification, associate file, Form I-9, Reduction In Force, etc. Subject matter guide in leading the entire Business Continuity Program with deliverables of ownership of documents, updates and training to HRBPs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
- Bachelorâ€™s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Legal or Paralegal or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in human resource compliance and/or labor law
- Experience working with employment laws, regulations and compliance
- Ability to establish strong working relationships at all levels and external agencies and providers
- Decisive and works well in stressful situations, particularly when faced with unexpected occurrences
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Supervisory/Management experience required
- Proficient in MS Products
- Ability to travel up to 25% and slightly more when required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
- Experience in support of a multinational organization preferred.
- Professional Certifications in Paralegal studies preferred.
