POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES This role will have responsibility for risk management under the First Line of Defense (\u201cFLOD\u201d) as part of EIT. Our environment continues to be one of heightened standards, raised risk consciousness, and regulatory requirements. The model through which we deliver risk programs and oversight is changing. This role is created in alignment with the new comprehensive First Line of Defense risk structure for Enterprise Information Technology. As the first line of defense, this role provides technology risk management services to the EIT group, consistent with the Wells Fargo Vision & Values and risk appetite.The Operational Risk Consultant 5 will lead the planning and execution of critical FLOD risk functions, in alignment with the Corporate Risk Model and EIT Risk Target Operating Model. An ideal candidate will be on the leading edge of Technology Risk Analytical technology with a passion for the newest and most innovative tools. The candidate is expected to possess strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities in addition to good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. The candidate is expected to independently identify, build and deliver solutions to risk management challenges for EIT while collaboratively working with various Wells Fargo team members in dispersed teams. This position will be in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment where the candidate will be handling multiple concurrent projects while working independently and in teams. Overall skills and experience: Experience leading risk projects to deliver complex data driven risk management solutions Experience identifying and building data driven solutions to complex risk management problems Hands-on ability to manipulate data and tools to prototype and present solutions Confident and self-motivated individual contributor, with sound judgment for when to escalate issues Able to guide and lead junior technology team members, whether with or without formal reporting authority Strong project manager who is able to influence cross-functionally in a rapidly evolving business environment while managing multiple projects Strong written and verbal communicator with excellent presentation skills Ability to work with top talent in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment where analytics and good data are a top priority

Business Intelligence Partner with the business to provide consultancy and translate the business needs to design and develop tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization. Develop prototypes and run experimentation for business intelligence tools, solutions, and techniques Assist in development of standards and policies for business intelligence framework
Data Management Drive an understanding and adherence to the principles of data quality management including metadata, lineage, and business definitions Work collaboratively with appropriate Tech teams to manage security mechanisms and data access governance Build and execute tools to monitor and report on data quality Evaluate data management, data quality and data access processes for gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities; provide recommendations for improvement Implement solutions and processes for management and governance across data quality metrics, metadata, lineage, data access rights and business definitions
Risk Management Be knowledgeable of IT risk management processes, key risk management frameworks (eg, NIST cybersecurity framework, COBIT), and understand the risk management process (Identifying \u2013 assessing \u2013 controlling \u2013 mitigating \u2013 monitoring and reporting processes).
Required Qualifications 10 years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 10 years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 5 years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both Desired Qualifications

Management experience in a financial services environment
3 years of management experience

Other Desired Qualifications 8 years of experience in technology or operational risk, or a combination of both; or 8 years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 4 years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both Data analytics experience and hands-on familiarity with current analytic tools (eg, SAS, R, Python, Tableau, Qlikview, Splunk, the Big Data ecosystem eg Hadoop, RDBMS, SQL etc) A demonstrable passion for ongoing learning High energy, positive, can-do and good with working collaboratively in a diverse culture Proven ability and prior experience in generating a business value proposition and justification for risk consideration and input at new product & service inception Proven prior experience in comprehensive risk ownership and accountability for the risk profile positioning Track record of providing constructive challenge with appropriate issue escalation and offering solution Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of strategic elements of financial, operational, technical and regulatory environments across a complex global services environment
