Administrative Operations Manager, Law and Compliance Are you an administrative professional with leadership experience looking to grow your career? The Administrative Operations Manager (AOM) is a vital role that focuses on client and business needs, providing strong administrative support to Law & Compliance (L&C) operations in addition to managing a team of Administrative & Executive Assistants (AAs and EAs). The AOM is essential to the efficient workflow within the office environment.AOM is a dual role that adds existing management responsibilities to current support functions. In addition to the above requirements and accountabilities, an AOM’s role may also include, but is not limited to, any of the following based on the needs of L&C and the business. Engagement, Networking, Mentoring, etcLeads by example to set high standards for excellence to deliver superior customer service, foster accountability, and encourage colleague engagementManages deliverables and team projects, including partnering with L&C leaders and other supported colleagues on ad hoc requests and maintaining quality control over AA/EA deliverablesMatures administrative talent through recruiting, onboarding, training, developing personal growth opportunities for colleagues, and fostering a culture of teamwork and feedbackContributes to special projects and initiatives with the Administrative Operations Leadership Team (AOLT) by organizing and coordinating information and requirements; may include, but is not limited to, budgeting, travel arrangements, room reservations, meeting room logistics and materials, and cateringActively participates in leadership meetings for follow ups and note taking when applicableDaily interaction with internal and external executive leaders as well as their AA’sCoordinates projects and works independently; seeks out answers to questions, takes initiative, leverages network of resources to solve problemsActs as a senior point of contact for colleagues on technology or facility requirementsProvides backup assistance to other AOMs as applicableDemonstrated ability to compose materials from rough notes or independent knowledge of circumstancesCreates/maintains/updates/organizes pertinent electronic information within databases, OneNote, SharePoint, and other business applications as applicableExpertly prepares and produces presentations and correspondence and related materials, including editing for grammar, punctuation, and claritySubmits printing requests for meetings and other needs as necessary; other tasks may vary based on role and L&C and business needSkills and experience that will lead to successMinimum 10 years overall experience with at least 3-5 years leading and training AAs/EAsPrior law firm experience supporting C-suite or equivalent (e.g., partner or practice leader) preferredAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Familiarity with Coupa, TeamConnect/Collaborati, and Workday a plusEducation: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience. The salary range for this position is $85,000-$95,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
