Position Objective:  Perform testing and Execute evaluations relating to the semi-annual testing and validation of screening parameters, participate in annual third party system validations as well as performing evaluations of new logic proposed for suppression, post-filtering and/or system optimizations.

Key Responsibilities:  Perform and document the comprehensive testing of major/minor upgrades to screening system(s). Define and/or refresh Testing/Evaluation plan, test cases, test screening lists, etc. in a timely manner prior to each upgrade. Ensure timely completion of testing documents/work papers.

Role is also responsible for responding to complex inquiries generated by users across Citi.  These escalated service tickets must be answered as soon as possible, can be related to audit/exam/testing issues, will require detailed understanding of end-to-end screening process as well as ability to collaborate with cross functional groups, non-technical business users, Compliance Technology and Global Sanctions Compliance colleagues and Regional Sanctions Officers.     Also, candidate must understand sanctions screening processes from standpoint of technical SME as well as from the perspective of a user and lastly as a compliance officer.  

Development Value: Global SME on CitiScreening EcoSystem for Global Screening Solutions group. Work with dedicated talent within the GSS Assurance team to meet goals/needs.

Work closely with Global Sanctions Compliance, Operations, Business units, and Technology to complete evaluations of screening logic during major/minor releases and patches. 

Work closely with Global Screening Solutions colleagues, and Technology to ensure timely completion of evaluations.

Must be ready to provide presentations to testing, audit and/or senior management as needed.

Provide feedback as requested on Screening related Business Requirements Documents.

Collect and prepare documentation as needed for testing. 

Prepare documentation, job aids, presentations, formal responses as needed. ','!*!Required Skills and/or Experience

Advanced Skills: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint, Microsoft SQL (T-SQL), Oracle SQL (PL-SQL) -NOTE- SQL skills will be assessed during interview process.

Experience creating, executing and documenting test scenarios and test plans for Sanctions or Compliance related Application or Technology.

Project-oriented; ability to think critically, identify and prioritize issues, formulate solutions and deliver results in a time-sensitive manner.

Attention to detail with emphasis on problem-solving,  high-quality work product and strong analytical skills

Self-starter with ability to work independently

Must be able to understand, speak to, and define clear testing expectations relating to interdiction / screening logic.

Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills

Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and drive results.

Must be willing to aid in training of non-technical users to foster and nurture a deep understanding sanctions.

Appropriately assesses risk / mitigating factors relationships when making decisions.

Excellent communication skills required, both written and verbal, for liaising with business partners within compliance as well as other groups (ex. Technology and the Business).

Ability to perform well in a high pressure, time-sensitive environment.

Bachelor's Degree Required, Advanced degree is a plus.

Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work across teams to solve/negotiate difficult, complex, and often politically charged issues and intuitively determine the most effective escalation path
