\rThe Administrator/Business Manager IV will be responsible for the financial, operational, project management, and strategic planning for the Division of Cardiology.  The candidate works in conjunction with the Division Chief, Sr. Director, and Management team in the Division of Cardiology and Sr. Administration in the Department of Pediatrics and the Hospital.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the development and execution of divisional goals, clinical service expansion and care model planning, financial management/performance and financial analysis, programmatic analysis and development, collaboration with other departments and affiliated organizations, physician relations, quality/process improvement activities, organizational design and support to divisional committees, and project management of unique divisional projects. A strong working relationship with the Division Chief and Medical Directors will be a key to success in this position.\r\rJob Responsibilities\r\r
\r1. Support Division Chief and Sr. Director as primary partner in divisional decision making\r\r\rDevelop operating plan and prioritize divisional projects and goals to undertake for the fiscal year.  Plan for faculty recruitment and potential internal and external partnerships.  Assist in leading and assessing business development opportunities.\rPrimary lead for organization, structure, project management, and successful functioning of the Divisional of Cardiology\rPartner with Senior Director and program leaders (Medical Directors, Fellowship Director, etc) as well as other departments (Cardiac Center) on strategic planning for new programs, expansion to new sites, joint decision making, and continued growth of internal programs\r Advise on the development of structure and goals for divisional committees to promote shared decision making within the division; staff and support the activities of these committees (Operations, Education, Quality and Safety)\rDevelop and maintain robust tools for planning and managing clinical staffing models, academic time, and complex on-call services, 10 Ambulatory Facilities in PA and 5 Ambulatory Facilities in NJ.\r\r\r\r\r2. Support financial team on performance for annual divisional budget on excess of $100 M\r\r\rAssist in the planning and development of the annual budget for the division of Cardiology, with the oversight of the Sr. Director and Business Manager.\rCollaborate with divisional leadership and professional and hospital billing offices and Epic IS teams to ensure accurate and complete documentation, optimize charge capture, and improve workflows.\rAssist in budgeting external funding sources (e.g., research and/or endowment accounts) and collaborate with the Research Institute to monitor performance; as well as plan for future research endeavors\r\r\rJob Responsibilities\r\r

Interface regularly with leaders throughout the enterprise and externally to ensure excellence in patient experience, quality improvement, and compliance with internal and external regulations\r\r\rMaintain and update clinical policies in conjunction with clinical leaders and OSMO staff • Maintain FPPE, OPPE, QAPI data for all division providers \r Develop internal systems for assuring high quality and consistent completion of operational functions\rPerform independent analyses of current processes and design and implement changes where necessary \rSupport continuous quality improvement\r\r\r\r\r4. Assist in the smooth operation of ongoing functions of the division \r\r\rOversee office space planning\rTroubleshoot administrative issues for physicians and staff\r\r\r\r\r5. Represent division and/or department on various institutional committees and enterprise initiatives\r\rRequired Licenses, Certifications, Registrations\r\r
\r\rRequired Education and Experience\r\r
\rRequired Education: Bachelors of/in business, health administration or related field required\r\r\r\rRequired Experience: 10 years previous experience with financial management and planning in an academic healthcare environment required.  Previous supervisory experience required.\r\rPreferred Education, Experience & Cert/Lic\r\r
\rPreferred Education: Masters of/in business, health administration or related field preferred.\r\rAdditional Technical Requirements\r\r
