CAO functions include Commitment to Customer, Corporate Responsibility & Community Relations, Data Management & Insights, Human Resources, Marketing, Stakeholder Relations, and the CAO Integration and Planning Office.
This newly created role will report to the Enterprise One Number Environment (eONE) Governance & Compliance Leader and will be responsible for maintaining efficient and effective day-to-day compliance operations. This position will be responsible for maintaining the Governance & Compliance Program operating model and coordinating the activities of multiple stakeholders to achieve effective policy compliance.
eONE seeks to build a “one number” instrument data foundation that is complete, reliable and aligned to the general ledger. The initiative will also establish the authoritative data source for corporate finance and corporate risk management data for in-scope risk and regulatory reporting. eONE will create a federated, coordinated set of applications and databases to support Risk and Finance, which will allow for agile and accurate risk and regulatory reporting and analytics that complies with BCBS239, and internal data governance polices (Governance & Oversight Framework and Enterprise Data Governance Policies and Standards). The eONE Governance & Compliance program is charged with ensuring eONE is compliant with all relevant internal policies and BCBS 239.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Maintain and coordinate execution of the Governance & Compliance (G&C) program operating model
o Oversee the G&C project plan and project manager
o Coordinate and monitor the activities of key inter/intra-departmental partners relative to business, technology and information security policies
Lead the production of regular reporting to Data Management Insights leadership and eONE program stakeholders
Lead the development and delivery of the compliance opinion in support of eONE quarterly release readiness assessments
Lead the monitoring of corporate policies and standards and associated impact assessments to eONE
Build and maintain a network of policy subject matter experts
Manage incoming requests on policy consultations, targeted projects and new governance routines; oversee or execute compliance tasks as applicable, including drafting of compliance position statements
Lead regular meetings of, and communications with, eONE Governance & Compliance program stakeholders
Lead eONE review and vetting routines relative to assigned policies and standards
Oversee the development and maintenance of relevant data governance and compliance artifacts
Oversee the management of team technology resources and key documents
Act as a change agent for the continual improvement of the eONE compliance environment
Assist with additional strategic projects as necessary

Required Qualifications:
8 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning
2 years of risk and regulatory compliance experience
5 years of audit experience
5 years of financial industry experience
Desired Qualifications:
A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics
Ability to interact effectively and confidently with senior management
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Solid problem solving skills
Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding SOX Sarbanes-Oxley Act
Knowledge and understanding of regulatory reporting: Federal Reserve, OCC, and SEC
