The Business Process Improvement Spec IV
will support the Global Regulatory Compliance department with evaluating new processes, systems and business opportunities. Will be responsible for thorough research and analyzing regulatory programs, new business development, systems integrations, and efficiency opportunities. Also, will coordinate new program roll outs and training to ensure both our internal and external customers are adequately trained; and ensure that new processes are adequately documented and that command media is updated accordingly. The RBA will be point of contact for interactions with regulatory agencies for defined matters.
Works to support new business development opportunities.
Identifies areas that affect efficiency, growth, and profitability and work to correct and improve them.
Develops and implements new programs to reduce costs.
Creates, updates, or improves processes as the business grows and changes.
Collects and analyzes data to help guide decision making.
Researches and analyzes basic and complex issues surrounding regulatory programs, processes and systems.
Plans and executes unit, integration, and acceptance testing; creates specifications for processes and/ or systems to meet business requirements.
Acts as liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new processes and/or systems, and enhancement of existing processes and/or systems.
Prepares communications and makes presentations on process and or system enhancements and/or alternatives.
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user and / or business needs to champion systems solutions that support overall business objectives.
Counsels management on changes in laws and regulations that impact foreign trade.
Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.
Knows and applies the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a particular field of specialization.
Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
Knowledge of Import/Export regulatory compliance as well as systems and process knowledge.
Applies advanced knowledge of a specific field to solve complex problems.

Full understanding of the professional field; communicates complex concepts effectively to all levels.
Bachelors Degree in related field. Prefer MBA or Masters.
Licensed Customs Broker or Cuseco or other compliance certification.
4 to 6 years related experience.
Aviation industry an Oracle SQL experience. Experience working in regulatory compliance, international supply chain, systems applications and process reviews.
