Tax Compliance Jobs description
Tax compliance officers perform compliance activities with account of tax levied on the corporations, companies, governmental organizations, NGOs, hospitals, schools and so on. The profile of the tax compliance job depends on the nature of the organization he is associated with. The duties of a tax compliance officer will always include field work. These employees are responsible for educating taxpayers on the US and its cities tax laws, and monitor for their compliance among the public ort employees in an organization. The tax compliance officer's duties include issuing tax permits and insuring that taxpayers are in compliance. Individuals may be required to work evenings, weekends and on holidays. They normally work alone and may encounter uncooperative, volatile, and hostile individuals and groups.The tax compliance officers should be adept in math, accounting, and bookkeeping. He should be good in using computer programs such as Word and Excel; conducting Internet research in a college or business setting or interpreting technical material such as spreadsheets and/or financial statements or laws and rules. A graduate is welcome but he should be good in independently handling complaints.
